Summer Celebration Raffle, Chesham and Amersham Liberal Democrats

  • 01 Jul 2025
  • 6.00 pm - 11.59 pm

It's July and we are still celebrating the fantastic results from the May Local Elections, not just in Chesham and Amersham, but right across Buckinghamshire! We won a clean sweep on both Chesham and Amersham Town Councils and took 11 seats in our constituency on the Unitary Council.  The Conservatives lost overall control of Buckinghamshire Unitary Council in May and are now having to listen to the views of other Parties!

Now we are moving forward to  support our wonderful new Councilors and our brilliant MP, Sarah Green, by buying a Risograph. This super printing machine is going to help us become more effective, enabling us to send out very localised leaflets. It will save us money and cut paper waste. And it will help us keep in touch with local residents and also help us win more elections across Bucks in the future.

So please buy your raffle tickets and support our fundraising efforts, so that we can continue to build our winning team.

Your ticket could win our wonderful basket of summer time goodies, worth over £100 in total!. It includes champagne, chocolates, wine glasses, stone ice cubes (!) and so many other exciting prizes!

Early campaigning is a proven tool in winning and this day will encourage your team to start early, maximising your chance to win in 2026.

It is ideal for smaller local parties and for those with less experience in campaigning, but will also benefit those wish to develop their techniques and to improve their campaigning.

Motivate Days sit alongside the Kickstart weekends, which allow greater in depth training and mentoring. Attending a Motivate day is a good introduction for those going onto a Kickstart weekend.  Kicksteart weekends are in June and November
