Steve will be talking his experiences with being a new elected MP and what that's like while having a disability there also be a Q&A to with any questions you have for Steve

At the BIG Hanger Hill Action Day on Saturday 21st September from 10.30am to 4pm we will be delivering leaflets and chatting to residents to understand more about what concerns they have about the Council. Local Councillors will be present in case you have any questions.

Please join us for a celebration event marking the appointment of Southwark Liberal Democrat campaigner Caroline Pidgeon to the House of Lords as well as our record number of Liberal Democrat MPs. 

The event will be held at The Rising, 98 Harper Rd, London SE1 6AQ, near the Elephant on the 26th of September at 18:00. The event is free, however there is the option for a small donation when purchasing your ticket. Caroline is paying for the first drink for each member who attends.

Caroline was a Newington Councillor between 1998 and 2010, and Deputy Leader of the Council and Executive Member for Children’s Services and Education when we ran Southwark Council. She then served on the London Assembly from 2008 to 2024, where she had a strong track record of campaigning on issues such as policing and public transport.
