20s Plenty for Shepway

1 May 2015

Shepway's roads can be made safer for motorists and pedestrians alike if you vote Lib Dem on Thursday. Local campaigner Gary Fuller has helped to set up a campaign to introduce 20mph speed limits on residential streets in Sandgate. If elected to Shepway District Council he intends to widen that campaign to include the entire district.

Commenting, Gary said:

"I want everyone to feel safe on our streets. 20s Plenty for Sandgate came about because the Parish Council recognised that speeding is a huge danger to both pedestrians and motorists, especially where young children are walking to school or playing. I want this to become a district wide campaign, and it's one of the reasons I'm asking people to vote for me on Thursday"
