A Million More Meals for Kent Schoolchildren

In Kent, there are currently 49,871 pupils in Reception, Year 1 and 2 in our primary schools.

Thanks to the Lib Dems in Government, from September 2014, every single one of them will get a free school meal every day at school. Eating together. Eating good food. And because of that, raising attainment and life chances.

Around 50,000 children, entitled to almost 200 meals a year each: a million more meals a month for Kent's infants. Ten million meals a year.
