Peter Carroll is fighting for action to clear up a bridleway at the end of Dunes Road on the Marsh. Peter was contacted by a concerned local resident who told him it was now impossible to ride safely on the bridleway due to collapsed trees blocking the path.

At certain points along the bridleway, large holes have appeared which make the path unstable for horses and could cause a serious accident.

Peter Carroll said "For all the local people who enjoy riding in this area, this is a major problem. This is one of the few circular routes that allows people to ride off the road in safety. It is terribly neglected and unsafe. The local horseriding community should be able to enjoy the beautiful area around the bridleway, and I am calling on Shepway District Council and Kent County Council to take action quickly to clear this up and make the area safe."
