Carroll welcomes SRA announcement

Local Lib Dem campaigner Peter Carroll has reacted with delight to the news that high speed domestic train services from Folkestone to London have now been confirmed.
These services will cut the journey time to London to under an hour.
Peter Carroll said "This is the best news for Folkestone for a hundred years. Our area has suffered all the disruption and pain of the construction of the link for many years. These high speed services will lead to the dramatic redevelopment of Folkestone and Shepway."
