Over the weekend following Reform UK's success in taking control of Kent County Council, Party Leader Nigel Farage said:

"I would suggest if you think you can work from home under us, you might find yourself having quite a short, sharp conversation.”

Today, Reform UK are in the process of recruiting many new staff, who will be working from home. https://job-boards.eu.greenhouse.io/reformuk

New Kent County Councillor for Cheriton, Sandgate and Hythe East, Tim Prater, commented:

“This seems to be a pretty cynical example of saying one thing and doing another.

"It's also a huge waste of tens of thousands of pounds to re-equip Council offices for a return to working patterns that will make staff less effective and less productive.

"If its good enough for Reform UK staff to work from home, why is it not good enough for Kent staff?"
