Shepway District Council workers have to do some pretty disgusting things, not least of them clearing up a pubic recreation area of the dog mess left by selfish dog owners.
The field in Archer Road has become a place where many people walk their dogs but it is also a space where children play.
As Mayor, I joined the team in speaking out against the amount of dog mess on the public area and suggested a plan to alert the public to the situation and the health risks for our children.
