Red (European Union) British Passport

The Entry Exit Scheme (EES) at Dover Port and the Channel Tunnel will be implemented from the 12th October 2025.

New signage will be put up before the go live date which will include visuals of the EU and UK flags to indicate to arrivals where to go to check in at the Port.

The 24th September 2025 is the date for all Member States to provide their EES implementation plans.  However, in the coming weeks we expect further information will be made available and relevant information will be sent on.

We understand that Le Shuttle is ready for EES and has been for some time.

Work is continuing at the Port of Dover and this should be completed by the 12th October 2025.

There will be a phased approach to implementation, as detailed below, which has been provided by the Home Office.
