Folkestone and Hythe Liberal Democrats Executive Meetings 2026

The Folkestone and Hythe Liberal Democrat local party is a part of the UK Liberal Democrats, and a part of the South East England Lib Dem Region.

The Local Party executive are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Folkestone and Hythe Liberal Democrats, co-ordinating our campaigning, fundraising, membership recruitment, social events, member development & training, support for other areas of the Party and more. The executive are elected by members at our Annual General Meeting, held towards the end of the year for the following calendar year. The 2026 Folkestone and Hythe executive committee are listed here. Our 2026 Chair is Matt Horrox.

The Local Party area entirely matches the Folkestone & Hythe District Council boundaries. At Parliamentary level, that means it covers both the Folkestone and Hythe Parliamentary Constituency and the North Downs East and North Downs West wards of the Ashford Parliamentary Constituency.

Folkestone & Hythe Lib Dems executive will meet in 2026 at 6.30pm on Zoom (unless agreed otherwise) on Wednesday 18th February, Monday 6th April, Monday 1st June, Monday 7th September, Monday 2nd November. All executive members will receive a Zoom link prior to the meeting: other members can do so to attend on request to the Secretary tim@prater.uk 

Executive members will also be emailed agendas and other papers in advance of meetings, and minutes following them.
