Folkestone Town Forthcoming Event: VJ Day

VJ Day (Victory over Japan Day) is the celebration of the surrender of Japan, ending combat in the Second World War on the 15th August 1945.
The day is celebrated by a service in the Garden of Remembrance at the Burma Star memorial commencing at 11:00 hours and is attended by civic dignitaries, military personnel and representatives of ex-service and youth organisations.
This event is open to the public.
