Guides Campfire

The Ampitheatre on the Lower Leas, Folkestone, was the perfect venue for the Girl Guide Association to celebrate 100 years of Girl Guiding. Campfire songs change very little over the years and we enjoyed joining in with the many songs that were led by the Guides and leaders.

The beautiful balmy evening helped in relaxing with the many uniformed groups attending. The Mayor and Mayoress were welcomed and sat amongst the young people. The leaders had activities which interacted with the audience and everyone joined the singing of the campfire songs - an excellent time was had by all!
