Gurkha Memorial Fund Appeal in Folkestone Town Centre

Attendance on the overcast morning started small but gradually grew as the weather improved and word spread to the shoppers of Folkestone. We are so fortunate to be able to watch quality dancing and listen to such talented singers.

I was delighted to be asked to open this exciting event in the Town Centre and I am glad that the people of Folkestone turned out to enjoy a day of Nepalese Culture. I am hoping that the donations gathered in buckets will make a significant contribution to the fund and that the memorial becoming a reality is considerably closer.
