In Memory of Mary Done

Shepway Liberal Democrats are heartbroken to hear of the death of long term member, activist and friend Mary Done.

Mary was active in Shepway Local Party for years, guiding and managing the Party, organising and always happy to get stuck into any task. Mary also served as Shepway Lib Dem Party President for a number of years. In recent years Mary has been homebound but remained a member and fiercely supportive of the Party.

Lynne Beaumont said:

"Mary was the strongest Liberal I have ever met. The local party, and so many of us individually, will miss her dreadfully."

No funeral arrangements have been made as yet.
