Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Folkestone & Hythe Larry Ngan has welcomed the General Election being called for 4th July.

Larry commented:

"It's time this rotten Conservative Government went. Every vote for the Liberal Democrats and me in Folkestone and Hythe on 4th July is a vote to tackle three absolutely key issues for our area.

  • We have a cost of living crisis in this country. It is worse here than in most other countries. Our Government is to blame for that.
  • Everyone in Folkestone and Hythe knows we don't have enough GPs and medical centres.
  • And Folkestone and Hythe is rightly famous for its beautiful beaches and coastline. But how can those beaches survive and thrive if the water companies keep pumping sewage into our sea?

"The Liberal Democrats have a plan to tackle those issues. Every votye for me is a vote to do so."

Lib Dem leader Ed Davey said:

"We’re up for the fight. We have our amazing candidates – already brilliant local champions for their areas. We have the right policies – that speak to the challenges people are facing. And we have all of you – the strongest campaigning force in British politics today.

"Liberal Democrats… I’m so proud of everything we’ve already achieved together. And I’m so excited for what’s coming next.

"The British people are ready. And so are we!"
