Lib Dem Lynne Beaumont wins Shepway District Council seat for Folkestone Park

In the by-election held on 22nd November for Folkestone Park ward for Shepway District Council, Lynne Beaumont gained the seat from the Conservatives with a 141 vote majority.
The result was:
- Lib Dem (Lynne Beaumont): 461
- UKIP: 153
- People First: 200
- Conservative: 320
- Labour: 111
- Green: 29
- Rejected (voting for more than one candidate): 4
- Rejected: (unmarked or uncertain): 2
