Folkestone and Hythe Parliamentary Campaigner Lynne Beaumont has welcomed a Lib Dem commitment to end child illiteracy by 2025.
"It's a really bold step, the right thing to do." says Lynne.
"Our schools in Shepway are now serving 3,400 free school meals a day since the Lib Dems in Government delivered on free school meals for every infant.
"They've had £11.5m extra funding for the most needy. Let's now go the next step: every pupil reading by 2025."
