Man arrested after White Lion Shooting

The White Lion Hotel in Cheriton, Folkestone was been cordoned off by armed police after an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg on Friday evening.

The BBC report that the victim, a local man, was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound which police said was not life-threatening. A 35-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Officers remain at the pub questioning potential witnesses.
