Hosting an event is so totally different from being a guest. It is difficult to greet the visitors, engage them in the plan for the afternoon and answer all the questions that need answering from the people helping and supporting. Having said all that, the afternoon at St George's Church in Audley Road, Morehall was a great success.

When we first discussed the possibility of a Nepalese Afternoon of Entertainment, we could not have imagined the variety and standard of the singing and dancing. The 3 pieces played by classical guitarist, Kishor Gurung was a wonderful finale to that section of the afternoon. Ajaya Dishar displayed his art work and many people were impressed. Four people purchased paintings and he donated some of the profit to the charity.

The afternoon finished with a delicious meal provided by the excellent Gurkha Palace Restaurant based in nearby Enbrook Valley.
