The Met Office predict gusts to severe gale force across Southern England late on Monday evening into the early hours of Tuesday, easing from the West thereafter. The wind will be accompanied by heavy rainfall. They say rain and gales will spread to all parts by midnight with gusts of 70mph along Channel coasts. The rain will give way to some heavy and blustery showers by Tuesday morning.
