The Mayor was pleased to hear from so many people that they considered Folkestone to be one of the best venues they have experienced this year. The provision of enclosed trailer parking on the car park at the seafront. People appreciated and commended the Coastal Park for the children and families whilst waiting for their races.

The views of France in a week of Dunkirk remembrance was particularly significant when two windsurfer families said that it highlighted just how close the German Army came to invading England. Many of the attendees were complimentary about Folkestone and said they would like to return again next year. The Mayor enjoyed awarding prizes to the competitors and was impressed by the friendliness of the people there.

It was also a pleasure to meet Michelle Roche of MRocheImages of www.mrocheimages.co.uk who took some fantastic pictures of the event - thank you Michelle!
