Liberal Democrat General Election Votes in Folkestone & Hythe since the formation of the Party.
- 2010: 15,987 (30.3%)
- 2005: 14,481 (29.9%)
- 2001: 14,738 (32.1%)
- 1997: 13,981 (26.9%)
- 1992: 18,527 (35.3%)
This year's General Election vote therefore saw the Lib Dems get their highest number of votes in Folkestone and Hythe for 18 years.
