Shepway "CPA" Review set for early 2008

The Audit Commission have agreed that the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) re-assessment of Shepway Council can go ahead early next year. Shepway were classified as a "Weak" Council in 2004.
The CPA is an assessment which draws on a range of information such as performance indicators, assessments of corporate capacity, audit and inspection reports, and stakeholder opinions to reach a single judgement about the performance of a local body.
