Trading Standards Warn on Lydd Door-to-Door Buyer

Kent Trading Standards have received information that a person is offering to buy jewellery and antique furniture from householders in Lydd. The person has posted leaflets in the area which express an interest in purchasing such items.
Kent Trading Standards advise householders to be wary of any doorstep callers buying or selling goods. Have the confidence to say no and do not let unknown callers into your home. If you own valuable goods that you wish to sell try to get at least 3 valuations from independent valuers so you know how much your goods are worth.
