Two Dead in Fire in Deal

Two people have died in a house blaze in Quern Road, Deal that was tackled by more than 20 firefighters from Kent.
Four fire crews tackled the blaze on the ground floor, but the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A neighbouring property was evacuated, and Quern Road has been closed to traffic.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service will be investigating the cause of the fire. Police are still at the scene.
