New boundaries for the 2024 General Election.
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.

Beach management work that helps protect more than 3,000 homes and businesses in Hythe, Seabrook, Sandgate and Folkestone from flooding is to start next week.
The owner of a former Cheriton pub has been ordered to make improvements to a building which has become a blight on the area following calls from the local Lib Dem team.
