Liberal Democrats will today launch a cross party move to defeat the Government and give 16 year olds a vote in the upcoming EU referendum.

New boundaries for the 2024 General Election.
About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Proposed creation of a small Car Park at Sandgate Recreation Ground and Re-shaping of the Dog Run
Sandgate Parish Council wishes to create a car park for up to 10 / 12 cars so as to create a safer environment for users of the recreation ground.
