New boundaries for the 2024 General Election.
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Over the past few months Pride events have been happening across the whole of the UK with some of the largest turnouts yet, with 1000s of spectators and even bigger parades than before. The Liberal Democrats have taken part in most of them - from Glasgow, Cardiff and London, to Leeds, Brighton and many more.

Kent County Council Trading Standards is aware of cold callers falsely claiming to offer a Council Tax rebate. Letters are also being sent to consumers demanding payment. Please be aware that these companies are not associated with any District Council or Kent County Council and as a result your Council Tax rebate will NOT be reduced.
