Covering all Folkestone & Hythe District Council wards EXCEPT North Downs East and North Downs West
New boundaries for the 2024 General Election.
About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.

Folkestone South Campaigner Gary Fuller has promised to give local residents the say on how County grant money is allocated locally if elected to Kent County Council.

Perceptions of Folkestone and Margate Questionnaire
Uwe Derksen, a research student at the University of Kent, is conducting research into public perceptions of Margate and Folkestone, with particular reference to culture-led regeneration. He has developed an on-line questionnaire, which can be completed in reference to either town and is aimed at those who live and/or work in either Margate or Folkestone.
