The streetlights not working (which is all of them!) on The Undercliffe, Sandgate, have been reported to Kent Highways by Folkestone West County Councillor Tim Prater. The lights went out on 4th February and reported soon after. Kent Highways sent an engineer to the road on Tuesday 8th February and diagnosed a cable fault.
Photographs that link the past and the present are the subject of a family history competition being organised by Shepway District Council to coincide with the 2011 census.
