About Folkestone and Hythe Constituency

From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.

The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.

BBC Question Time comes to East Kent

BBC Question Time is being recorded in Dover on 13th November. If you would like to apply to be in the audience, complete the form on "Join the Audience" page of the BBC Question Time web site (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/question_time/1858613.stm), with Dover as the most convenient venue.
