Can we calm down the House of Commons?
News that the new SNP contingent at Westminster do not seem able to comprehend the convention that clapping a speaker is simply 'not done' might reflect an intention to make themselves so unpopular with the rest of the country that we would be only too glad to get rid of them, next time they can force a referendum on the topic.

Driving Licence Change Today: You No Longer Need the Paper Counterpart. Probably.
From today, the paper counterpart to the photocard driving licence will not be valid and will no longer be issued by DVLA. The counterpart was introduced to display driving licence details that could not be included on the photocard. These details include some vehicle categories you are entitled to drive and any endorsement/penalty points.
