Forgotten Sandgate: Wilberforce Road Bench

A few weeks ago, I raised the poor state of repair of the small kerbside bench on Wilberforce Road just off Sandgate High Street at Sandgate Parish Council. I'm pleased to say that the Council have agreed that it should either refurbished or replaced and we're making progress on getting quotes and agreeing the works.

Do we need a 7 days a week NHS?

I don't really feel qualified to write about the NHS for so many reasons. Primary amongst these is the fact that our local surgery is very good; I have never had a problem getting an appointment, and they look after me very well. And they do it in 5½ days a week.

Folkestone Town Forthcoming Event: Town Sunday

Although the Town Mayor is now elected in the comfort of the Town Hall, it is from the Churchyard Cross that the Town Mayor is to be named and prayers are said for the person honoured and elected by the Folkestone Town Council, for the Town of Folkestone.
