The Liberal Democrat candidates for South-England for the European Parliament elections in 2009 have been announced. Current MEP Sharon Bowles heads the list, followed by well known Regional campaigner Catherine Bearder, and Bromley By-Election candidate Ben Abbotts.
Kent Fire Service have opened the on-line consultation on their "Integrated Risk Management Plan 5", which proposes this year to cut 24 full-time firefighters, an engine and the long ladder from Folkestone Fire Station.
