Operation Stack (the closure of sections of the coast-bound M20) is again bringing chaos across Folkestone and Hythe. Phase 1 of Operation Stack (M20 closure Eastbound from J11 to J12) has been in place since yesterday as cross-channel services were disrupted by high winds. The Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for Kent, predicting a 60% chance of heavy and persistent rain to spread across Kent from the west during Tuesday 15th January, with up to 25mm likely in places.
