Business Local Restrictions Support Grant, Additional Restrictions Grant & National Lockdown Grant Update from Folkestone and Hythe District Council

Since the start of the previous national lockdown period on 4th November 2020, there have been a number of business grant schemes available for businesses in the district. However, we have tried to keep this as straightforward as possible, so have combined these into two broad schemes - the Local Restrictions Support Grant (LSRG) and the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG). The recent national lockdown this January has brought an additional grant - the National Lockdown Grant, which is available to businesses eligible for an LSRG.

Kent County Council Backs Lib Dem Call for Delay to East Kent Primary School Reopening

The Leader of Kent County Council has called on the Government to keep schools closed in Thanet, Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone and Hythe. Kent County Council's Liberal Democrat Group Leader Rob Bird and Edication Spokesman Trudy Dean made a similar call yesterday.
