New boundaries for the 2024 General Election.
From the 2024 General Election, the Parliamentary Constituency of Folkestone and Hythe will include the District of Folkestone and Hythe wards of Broadmead, Cheriton, East Folkestone, Folkestone Central, Folkestone Harbour, Hythe, Hythe Rural, New Romney, Romney Marsh, Sandgate & West Folkestone, Walland & Denge Marsh.
The electorate will be reduced to bring it within the permitted range by transferring out the North Downs area in the north (North Downs East and North Downs West wards), along with the parts in the Borough of Ashford (Saxon Shore ward), primarily to the reconfigured constituency of Ashford.
Folkestone & Hythe Lib Dems executive will meet in 2026 at 6.30pm on Zoom (unless agreed otherwise) on Wednesday 18th February, Monday 6th April, Monday 1st June, Monday 7th September, Monday 2nd November.

Any member of the Liberal Democrats can put together a motion to Liberal Democrat conference with some support from other members, and if it is then passed by conference it becomes Party Policy.
