Local Lib Dem Gary Fuller has reacted with disappointment that Kent County Council are unwilling to act on road safety fears along a narrow stretch of Sandgate High Street. Gary reported the issue to UKIP County Councillor Hod Birkby, who forwarded a Kent County Council Highways, Transportation & Waste officer's response.
Local Lib Dem Gary Fuller is calling for action to deal with a narrow area of Sandgate High Street (A259) after a bus collided with a parked car on Monday. A double decker bus, a 102 travelling from Lydd to Folkestone, hit the parked car soon after the owner had left the vehicle at around 12.45pm. The bus caused damage to the rear of the vehicle, denting the wheel arch.
