Can We Have Our Money Back Please?
News that in 2009 £18,350 paid to then KCC Chief Executive Peter Gilroy for running the KCC elections was "inappropriate and not permitted in law" has been slammed by Kent County Councillor Tim Prater.

Barred from Office [At Least For A Bit]: FIFTEEN Town and Parish Councillors across Shepway
Across Shepway, thirteen Conservative Town and Parish Councillors, including two Town Mayors and a Parish Deputy Chair, and two People First Town Councillors have today been barred from sitting on their Councils.

M20 bridge work to start
Work starts this weekend to refurbish a motorway bridge near junction 8 of the M20 near Maidstone in Kent. The Chrismill bridge, which carries the motorway over the Maidstone East railway line, will be fully resurfaced and rewaterproofed, drainage will be improved and important components will be replaced.
