Lib Dem Lynne Beaumont wins Folkestone Town Council seat for Folkestone Park
In the by-election held on 22nd November for Folkestone Park ward for Folkestone Town Council, Lynne Beaumont gained the seat from the Conservatives with a 143 vote majority, with the Conservatives slipping into third place.

In the by-election held on 22nd November for Folkestone Park ward for Shepway District Council, Lynne Beaumont gained the seat from the Conservatives with a 141 vote majority.

The things you get asked to do...
While attending the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner Election Count in Folkestone and Hythe today, the Coservatives were *very* keen I took a picture of their counting agent team for them (presumably to prove their their agent that they were actually there). I'm not at all sure how it helps them, but I'm always happy to help out...
