Cheriton and Morehall: Road & Access Schemes

Following on from improvements in Cheriton and Morehall over recent years funded by Local County Councillor Tim Prater's "Member Highways Fund" (MHF), more works are hopefully planned this year. The Members Highway Fund is an amount of money delegated to County Councillors each year to spend on works in their division - currently £25,000 per year.

Words I didn't expect to say: I Agree With Eric.

The below press release from the Department of Communities and Local Government sets out a series of measures designed to open up local government, make decisions more open and reduce restrictions on reporting from meetings by the public. All seems to be good stuff - but the devil will be in the detail.
