After a request / report for resurfacing in North Lane in Sandgate (leading off Sandgate High Street) from Tim Prater, Kent Highways have resurfaced the top end of the lane and reinstated the yellow lines. Kent Trading Standards have received reports of bogus callers telephoning consumers pretending to be from a local GP surgery.
I have this afternoon just watched the very interesting first of a special series of Daily Politics Show Election Specials on BBC2. This one was on the Environment. The deadline for nominations to be the next MP for Folkestone and Hythe was 4pm, and the accepted nominations have been announced by Shepway Council. The UK is facing a mental health emergency. Liberal Democrats have a proud record of pushing Britain’s mental health services forward. Now we are offering the bold solutions we need to fight the crisis unfolding in our communities.
Ed Davey is a husband, a father and a carer. He is the Leader of the Liberal Democrats.
It is Ed’s experience of caring that drives much of his politics, and motivates his tireless campaigning for a fair deal.
Meet our representatives and candidates.
