A20 Roundhill Tunnels expansion joint replacement work scheduled from 13 November 2011
The Highways Agency have announced the details of the replacement programme for the failed expansion joints on the A20 Roundhill Viaduct, including around 6 weeks of overnight tunnel closures and diversions through Folkestone.

Isle of Grain Airport. Maybe not the best idea...
Information from Rodney Chambers, Leader of Medway Council on the BBC Kent website: The Isle of Grain is home to one of the world's largest liquefied natural gas terminals, a few miles a sunken American warship laden with high explosives, London Array wind farm being built nearby and the airport cuts through an area that is home to 100,000's of migrating birds.

Action on dangerous driving in Morehall Avenue and Chart Road
After feedback from local residents on the new Morehall Avenue and Chart Road one way system, Cheriton PSCO Mark Ball has agreed to keep an eye on the situation on his patrols of the area and raise the issue at the weekly Police CSU meeting.
