Many Kent residents will be able to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in style on 29 April after Kent County Council agreed to waive charges for street parties on quiet residential roads and cul-de-sacs.
The Folkestone Winter Shelter has helped 29 people with overnight accommodation, food and support in just 7 weeks. The shelter provides a place to stay for those who would otherwise sleep rough. During the coldest months of December to February, the project brings together local churches, organisations and volunteers.
For the FOURTH year, Folkestone Town Council have FROZEN Council tax. The Lib Dem backed budget was passed in January and kept Council tax stable while protecting and developing local services.
