All 807 Woolworths stores will close by 5 January unless a last-minute buyer can be found, the company has confirmed. This will include the Folkestone and Hythe branches of the chain.
Shepway residents who would normally have their landfill waste collected on Thursday (Christmas Day) will have it collected on Monday 29 December. Collections due on Friday (Boxing Day) will be made on Tuesday 30 December.
