Someone at the Office of National Statistics has been having a bit of a play with birthday data. This time of the year (the second half of September) is the most popular time to be born (with September 26th being the "peak" day on the data for the last twenty years.

Having had a look at the sale particulars online, I have today sent Shepway District Council's Planning Depertment the following email. I await their response with interest!

The seal was rescured from Sandgate beach on Tuesday afternoon and taken to the RSPCA Mallydams wildlife centre where is was reported to be underweight but recovering.
