While Labour fail to act, the Liberal Democrats stand up for the vulnerable in Parliament
Whilst all but 48 Labour MPs sat on their hands and allowed the nodding through of welfare cuts that will hurt the most vulnerable in society, the Liberal Democrats stood up for what is right and sensible in Parliament last night. Every Liberal Democrat MP voted against the cuts, which represent an attack on the working and out of work poor.

9,400 reasons for faster action to tackle air pollution in London
Last week King's College, London revealed that air pollution causes 9,400 premature deaths in London every year and impact on the health of many more including those the commute to or visit the capital.
